What is Red Racer Books?

Red Racer Books specializes in creating children's books centered around motorsports such as INDYCAR and Formula 1 racing. Our founder, Andy Amendola, is passionate about introducing young children to the world of racing while exploring related concepts such as science, technology, diversity, and teamwork.

Red Racer Books are tailored for children aged 1-10, offering non-fiction fact books that empower parents to bond with their children over their shared passion for Formula 1 and motorsports. The ABCs books are great for ages 0-6 and the “Cars” books are more suitable for kids 5-8.

02. Orders & Payment

How long will it take to receive my order?

We strive to process and ship orders within 2 business days. Shipping times may vary depending on your location, but most orders typically arrive within 5-8 business days. 


How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status and location of your shipment.


Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we offer international shipping to most countries. Shipping fees and delivery times may vary depending on your location. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more details. 


What if an item is showing as sold out?

Red Racer Books is a small business and at times we run out of stock. However, if you are shopping from somewhere outside of the USA and are not seeing any items available it may mean that shipping is not available to your home. But if you reach out to Andy via [email protected] he can determine if we can add your country to our shipping list. 


Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

We understand that circumstances may change, but address changes after orders are processed are hard to do. If you need to update your shipping address, please contact our customer support as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that address changes may delay the delivery of your order.


What should I do if my order is delayed or missing?  

If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time or if you believe it's missing, please reach out to Andy directly at [email protected] . We want to make sure you have a great customer experience and we will investigate the issue and work to resolve it promptly.


Are there any additional customs fees for international orders?

Customs and import duties may apply to international orders, depending on your country's regulations. These fees are typically covered by Red Racer Books but we are still very new and navigating international orders as we grow. 


Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

We aim to process orders quickly. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but order cancellations may not be possible if the shipment is already in progress.


What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact Andy at [email protected] immediately. I will arrange for a replacement or refund, as appropriate and work with you to make sure you and your family get the books in best possible condition. 


Do you offer expedited shipping options?

We offer expedited shipping options for select products and locations but most of our deliveries are standard mail to minimize cost for both customers and the business. During the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred shipping method, if it is available. 


Do you offer discounts on bulk orders? 

If you are interested in placing a large order, perhaps for a school, class, party or other occasion, please contact Andy at [email protected] .  We also offer wholesale distribution and discounts for B2B buyers. Reach out to learn more!
